I know you are already doing the best you can, but you don’t have to face your challenges alone. I’d love to support and walk alongside you as you find your way to overcome this.

STEP 3

personalised coaching journey

Depending on your circumstances and challenges, we’ll make a personalised coaching plan. I recommend a block of 5 sessions as a foundation, but single sessions are possible.

Welcome to a new and wonderful world 😉

If you told me a few years ago that I would be a somatic practitioner I would not have believed you. I would not have had any idea what ‘somatics’ meant or how it would change my life. I can assure you, you don’t need to know anything about it, we will work together step by step and you will learn ‘somatic stress release’ is just a very big word for something very simple, natural and intuitive.

I can imagine it might sound a bit strange and also interesting at the same time. Nowadays there are many nervous system practices available on youtube, or social media channels. I encourage you to take a look and see if you find interesting and want to learn more. I would love to teach you step by step how it works, what it is and how to apply it in a way that is right and supportive for you. SSR sessions also include other techniques beside the nervous system regulation practices. This is just one aspect that we use to support our overall wellbeing and help us build more resilience and self-regulation to better deal with stress and emotions.

More often than not, unexplained symptoms (both mental or physical challenges) can be related to unprocessed built-up stress or repressed emotions. Booking a discovery call is a great way to ask your questions and see if working with me can be the right fit for you and your unique circumstances. You are not alone, most people don’t know if they have trauma or stored stress, yet most of us have. It is a natural result of being human and living our lives, especially in the fast paced high demand world we live in.

Most of us have done really good jobs of disconnecting from all the things that have hurt us when we were young, or those things that were overwhelming or too much at some point. Most of us have learned to overcome these things and just keep going and carry on – stress feels normal and we don’t even realise how much of a stress load our bodies are carrying. We are also really good at building the perfect social facades, and develop excellent coping mechanisms to deal with all of the stuff in the background by pretending to be ok. 

We may look like we have it all perfectly together to the outside “living our best lives”, but deep down we know how much we’ve buried deep down hoping it will never come up again. Most of us carry too much unnecessary weight on our shoulders. You may feel this never ending ‘not okay’ feeling or a sense of discontent and dissatisfaction, a hole that can’t be filled or something gnawing that you try to get away from – if that sounds familiar – it might be just the sign you need to get in touch. You don’t have to feel this way. There is another way to live your life fully and free from the grips of constant stress.

Feeling afraid or uncertain to try something new to deal with something like stress or emotions is VERY NORMAL. Of course it can feel very daunting and out of our comfort zone. Depending on your culture, upbringing or beliefs around stress and emotions you may even feel like it is “taboo” or that it means you are a failure if you reach out for support around this. 

I will leave you with this saying: Change is hard, but so is staying the same – you get to choose your “hard”
